I have not lost any volume or files. It is slow. Transfer speed much less than the hard drives max speed. I have started using tier mode. If i have 50GB on a SSD it becomes faster. It looks a little strange in the Server manager. One column is empty and another just say Unknown. I wish Microsoft fixes that someday. There is a check mark for tiered mode.
I have done a lot of things. I have installed AD Federation Services. Changed group policy to turn on Hello for business. Created SSL certificate for ADFS. Checked status for device registration. Turned on authentications in Azure AD. Added entries in DNS zone file. I can now see the login options fingerprint and PIN, but neither works. Now i dont know what is wrong. I get some error message about not being available in my organization. Some error code 0xc00000bb.

If this is the kind of policy recommendations we’re to expect over the next four years, the need to defend Section 230 is going to remain pretty much the same as it’s been over the last few years.

Lots of people wants to decide what is allowed on social media sites. Will the first amendment be next to be repealed. Both democrats and republicans wants to decide what we can read on websites.
Law enforcement and politicians wants laws against end-to-end encryption. Lately they have written some papers about terrorism and “think of the children” problems with encryption. Those who wrote that the politicians were fighting against the laws of mathematics are quiet now. They did not understand how powerful political power is. This should not be about if encryption is dangerous. It should be about if a free country can make laws against encryption. I believe that encryption is dangerous when used by some people. The state should be able to stop me from encrypting a message and send it to somebody. What would be the illegal part. I started to think about it tonight after reading somebody’s blog post. He knows that encryption can be dangerous and still argue that it should be legal. Much better than others who argue that there is no problems with end-to-end encryption.

On the face of it, I can understand why the proposals are being tabled. Criminals will no doubt be making great use of encryption to hide their criminal activities, both to help them carry out criminal acts as well as preventing prosecution against them. However I do have concerns that if we do put some type of mechanism into place which would allow law enforcement to be able to read this private data, it may jeopardise legitimate use of encryption for ordinary law abiding citizens.

I have tried to use it now. There are lots of work for them to do before it is good. Intellisense is now working. That makes it a lot easier to get the XAML right. Many controls are not ready. Datagrid is not ready to be used. I had to comment out most triggers. I am converting a WPF application to WinUI 3. XAML designer is not working. To open a FileOpenPicker you have to write some strange things.

I updated to Visual studio 2019 16.9 preview 1 today. My WinUI 3 program i started on a few months ago still cant be compiled. The project cant be loaded. Visual Studio 16.7 preview was the last version where WinUI 3 was working. It is hard to understand how Microsoft wants us to do desktop applications. WPF is still best.
It is easy to turn on screensharing in Gnome. You notice that you have to be logged in for it to work. You cant get to the login screen. Red hat have turned on some TLS encryption in Fedora 33. It is hard to find a VNC client for Windows that support that TLS encryption. There is another TLS encryption for VNC to confused things more. The command is “gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.remote-desktop.vnc encryption “[‘none’]”” to turn it off. I got connected and Firefox dont recognize my mouse clicks. It activates the windows but nothing more happens. The mouse cursor is always ibeam.
I thought this card was new enough to have UEFI boot. I tried today but i have to turn on CSM to get the computer to boot from a drive connected to the Adaptec card. It is an expensive card.
Intel supports RST from kernel 2.6. It did not work for me yesterday. I tried with Fedora 33. Supports means that mdadm can read the volume information. Then mdadm can create raid drives. Looks like it is better to turn it off in linux. I tried windows 10 and it work just like i expected it to do. When installing Windows i could chose the volume i had created in the UEFI settings. I could install some software where i could see information about the RAID drive.
