Few wants to talk about meat production and climate change. There are coming gases out from cows both in the front and the rear.
There are just two actions needed to prevent catastrophic climate breakdown: leave fossil fuels in the ground and stop farming animals. But, thanks to the power of the two industries, both aims are officially unmentionable.

Those industries are powerful because people really want their products. People want to stop climate change, but only if they can keep their cars and eating meat. The cars can be fixed, but i doubt that meat production can cut down on greenhouse gasses. Meat eating is going up because more people in the world can afford it.
Not even Norway will stop getting fossil fuels up from the ground.
Livestock is mentioned in only three agreements, and the only action each of them proposes is “management”. Nowhere is there a word about reduction.
